google this morning at $806.85. now much of the gains came in the last year after larry page took over oh. his second time serving as ceo. $806 is a ridiculous stock price. it makes it hard for the average mom and pop investor to buy more than just a few shares. that decreases demand. most companies in this situation would solve the problem with a stock split. that is, wave a magic wand and make each share worth two shares at half the price. it doesn't hurt current investors but makes the stock...
